Askon Demir, a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact since August 30, 2022, and a member of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Program since December 21, 2022, continues to support efforts to strengthen gender equality and enhance the role of women in the business world.

Within this scope, we participated in the “Denizli’s Powerful Women Summit – Leaders of Equality & Awards Ceremony,” named after the book “Denizli’s Powerful Women.” Our Vice Chair of the Board, Melike Konyalıoğlu, was also featured in the book introduced during the program.

As part of the event, the Leaders of Equality Award, presented for the 4th time this year, was awarded to Melike Konyalıoğlu on behalf of our Chairman of the Board, Okan Konyalıoğlu.
