SBTi

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to do their part in combating the climate crisis. Its primary objective is to ensure that the targets set by businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are scientifically valid and effective.

These organizations develop standards, tools, and guidance that enable companies to set greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets in line with what is required to keep global warming below catastrophic levels and to achieve net-zero emissions by no later than 2050.

As Askon Demir, on 30.09.2022, we committed to reducing our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030, compared to the 2021 base year, and to measuring and reducing our Scope 3 emissions.
